Joe is presently stationed in Fernie and started his career as a BC Conservation Officer 30 years ago. Presently, he is the Inspector in charge of the Kootenay Boundary Region. He is also the Manager responsible for BC’s K-9 program and the Aquatic Invasive Species Program. Joe also worked as an undercover operator for the BC Special investigations Unit. Joe hosted the first Wildlife Human Attack Response Training (WHART) in Fernie in 2006, and is presently one of three Managers involved with the BC Predator Attack Teams.
Joe has done some trapping, assistant big game guiding and is very passionate about hunting and fishing. He is married to his beautiful wife Lori, and they have three children Matthew, Taylor and Francesca and a blood hound named Lexi.
