Diane is an Adjunct Professor of Archaeology with Simon Fraser University. Dr. Diane Cockle has a B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology and Archaeology from the University of Alberta and worked in archaeology as both contract and provincial archaeologist across western North America including the Yukon. She is a Bloodstain Pattern Analyst and Special Crime Scene Investigator for The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) with over 18 years service; 14 years as a Crime Scene Investigator. She recently finished her PhD at Simon Fraser University in Forensic Anthropology with much of her research focusing on Forensic Taphonomy.
